Triumphant We Stand. ✌︎
I believe there is truth to the saying: “when it rains, it pours” ☂. It’s been a hard season for me- relationally speaking (& no, it doesn’t seem to stop at relational struggles!) ➔ the lack of work opportunities, the financial drought$, & the struggle to maintain a healthy diet (I just want one chocolate bar, just one!) ➔ these are all things that have led me to feeling a bit overwhelmed at times.
Though there are valleys of hardship, I still manage to see the light! ☀︎
I see the beauty in the small things & I am reminded of times similar to these that I have previously been through-& best yet-have triumphantly been rescued from!
Psalm 116 : 5-9
The Lord is gracious & righteous;
Our God is full of compassion.
The Lord protects the simple-hearted; ♡
When I was in great need, he saved me.
Be at rest, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.
For you, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,
that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
God never gives us more than we can handle! You are stronger than you think, stronger than you feel. So whether you're facing little battles or GIANTS in this season of life, know that:
ALL . IS. WELL.
✌︎ Peace is holding on to trust & faith even in the midst of chaos!
Thanks be to GOD! Being too caught up in our own circumstances can hinder us from stepping back & seeing that God is here for us (me & YOU!). Psalm 116:5-9 has stuck with me for some time as it is recited in the live version of the song entitled, “Gracious Tempest,” by Hillsong Young & Free (Below ⇣). Knowing God’s unchanging character of compassion, grace, & perfect love, brings me overwhelming peace alone in itself.
Take a listen for yourself & open your heart ♥︎ to all that God wants to work through for you, & in you.
He’s done it before, & he’ll do it again!!!
